Maple Themed Wedding Favors for Fall

Maple Themed Wedding Favors for Fall

Are you planning an autumn wedding? If so, you may want to consider handing out maple themed wedding favors. As a former special events planner, I know of several maple related items that would make superlative wedding favors. Here’s a quick look at five of them:

Maple Syrup Infused Spa Products

Would you like to give your wedding guests a distinctive, maple themed wedding favor? If so, you may want to check out Maple Luscious. It is a line of maple syrup infused spa products that is based in Canada. The company manufactures a milk bath, sugar scrub, lotions, lip balm and other spa products that are made with maple syrup. Prices vary based on what product you select.

Maple Candy Couple

In my opinion, maple candy shaped like a couple would make a charming wedding favor. There are many different companies that make maple candy in all sorts of shapes. One of the companies that make maple candy shaped couples is Carman Brook Maple and Dairy Farm in Vermont. The maple candy couple tends to sell for $3 each. If you don’t want to purchase ready-made maple candy, you could always purchase maple candy molds and make your own. Maple leaf candy molds typically sell for $21 each through maple sugar industry suppliers.

Maple Crunch Chocolate

If you want the maple flavor without the traditional look of maple candy, you may want to try handing out maple crunch candy instead. It is a dark chocolate candy that has been imprinted with a maple leaf design. The maple crunch candy is wrapped in gold paper and tends to sell through specialty shops like Lake Champlain Chocolates for $63 a case.

Maple Syrup

Little maple leaf shaped bottles of maple syrup would also make a stellar wedding favor for autumn. Ready-made bottles of maple syrup are available through assorted specialty shops like Maple Guys. Based on my experience, the ready-made, miniature bottles of maple syrup typically sell for $3 each. You can also personalize them with special gift tags or ribbons. You could also opt to purchase empty maple leaf syrup bottles and fill your own. Empty maple leaf syrup bottles may be purchased through maple sugar industry suppliers like Leader Evaporator.

Maple Leaf Sun Catcher

Maple leaf sun catchers would make outstanding autumn wedding favors as well. I would suggest that you consider purchasing the maple leaf sun catchers in bulk through a wholesaler. It is usually the most economical route to take. Of course you could also try and negotiate a deal with individual artists or retailers. If you purchase enough maple leaf sun catchers to make it worth their while, they may agree to come down on the price. Otherwise, you may expect to pay roughly $7 for each maple leaf sun catcher. Of course if you are feeling crafty, you could also opt to make your own maple leaf sun catchers. In many instances, you can purchase sun catcher craft kits through major craft retailers for less than $10 each.
