Krill Oil by Natures Way – Product Review

Krill Oil is a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids. I have heard so many good things about Krill oil, I decided to try it. Looking through the shelves of my local grocery store, I stumbled on a bottle of Krill oil. The bottle that I purchased is made by Natures way and contained 60 500mg capsules. Krill oil may help improve cardiovascular health, joint pain and also works as an antioxidant. I wanted to try it out for joint pain and this is what I found out.

The active ingredient in Natures way Krill oil is Neptune Krill oil. The other healthful ingredients in this supplement include vitamin A, Vitamin E, Omega 3 fatty acids, Phospholipids, Omega 9 fatty acids, Omega 6 fatty acids and Esterified Astaxanthin. The inactive ingredients in this capsule are Gelatin, Glycerin and purified water. The capsules are recommended to be taken with breakfast as one or two soft gels. There are warnings on thestating that if you have a seafood allergy, coagulopathy or if you’re taking anticoagulants or other medications to consult with a physician before starting. The product is free from sugars, flavors, preservatives, artificial colors, starch, solvents and PCBs. For more information about this product you can visit natureway.com.

I was hopeful that this product would help solve my joint pain. I started taking the supplements first thing in the morning with my breakfast. I took the recommended dose and noticed the strong smell of fish. I don’t mind that it smelled of fish, but it sure wasn’t pleasant. I figure any Krill oil supplement will smell like fish so I happily swallowed my pills and then noticed a fish taste. This also doesn’t bother me because I know that a fish product will taste like fish. I figure the health benefits are worth a slight fish taste. I am happy that the fish taste didn’t last and soon went away. The pills are easy to swallow and I didn’t notice any unwanted side effects. I continued to take the Krill oil daily. After about a week I still didn’t notice much pain relief. I figured I would give the product an additional week to see if I could get some results. After the second week of taking Natures Way Krill oil, I did notice less pain in my joints. Nature’s way Krill oil continues to work as I still do take this supplement. I would recommend this Krill oil supplement to anyone suffering from joint pain.
