Know You’re Pregnant Approximately 7 Days After Intercourse!

A big question for many ladies is, “how do I know I am pregnant?” or “how soon can I tell that I am pregnant?” The early symptoms of morning sickness and having to urinate very often really don’t happen right away – not in most ladies, anyway. The home pregnancy test does not have a high rate of accuracy if taken before the first day of your missed period (or the day after) with the earliest high accuracy rate occurring four days after the first missed period. Many wish to know sooner than that.

A little background to my secret:

Today’s world offers many birth control choices to a woman. Most use “the pill” or a condom. Some are familiar with natural family planning, or the rhythm method. In natural family planning, a woman charts her basil temperature every morning and watches for mucus. This article is concerned directly with the basil temperature watching. When charting the temperature faithfully every morning, a woman should see a monthly pattern. When ovulation is about to occur, the temperature will rise. For instance, my temperature is usually around 97.3-97.7. During ovulation, my temperature rises to 98.0-98.3. The temperature should remain elevated for one to three days. When the temperature drops back to the normal level, ovulation is over, and it is safe to have sex should you wish to avoid having a child.

Of course, here is the spot where I have to insert the standard disclaimer about every woman being different.

Interesting fact:

I am going to share an interesting fact that is very little known. When the woman’s egg has been successfully fertilized, and it makes its journey to the spot where it will implant and begin to grow – the basil temperature is likely to rise again. At the very least, the temperature will not drop down to the normal level. If a pregnancy is beginning, the temperature will remain elevated. One source stated that if your temperature is elevated for more than 18 days, and you had sex during the time of ovulation, you are indeed pregnant. In my experience, I could tell I was pregnant approximately 7 days after intercourse each time. Since the soonest you can take a fairly accurate home test is the first day of your first missed period – or, in some cases the day after, the basil temperature is the very first tangible clue a woman could ever have indicating she is indeed pregnant.
