“Kairos” Defined- (kiros) n. A Greek word meaning time, moment of destiny. A kairos moment is a critical moment in time, characterized by good fortune, favorable opportunity and urgency; of short duration which must be seized or it will be lost; a kairos moment is a moment that manifests destiny.
You are never prepared for the moment that changes your life. You’ve made decisions, set your goals, laid out your plans. Everything you have experienced is preparation for a single defining moment, a kairos moment. A kairos moment is God-given, not manufactured by man. It is the moment of destiny that must be seized with decisiveness. The moment that manifests destiny presents itself like a flowing river of unseen waters. It carries a future reality into your present.
You are never prepared for the moment that changes your life, but if you surrender yourself into the hand of God, to His will, you will discover a moment designed only for you, a moment where the promise of God collides with the timing of God. A kairos moment is a moment when your faith must over-shadow your doubt, your strength must over-shadow your weariness, and your courage must conquer your fear. “Courage is not the absence of fear, but the refusal to let it prevail.”
Never lose sight of the fact that you are here for a reason, and that you possess the tools to discover what that reason is. “Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that ask receives, and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks it is opened unto him. “(Matthew 7:7-8). Look beyond the limits of what is familiar, and see into the realm of what is possible. A kairos moment represents Divine Truth in your life. Seek Gods wisdom and His divine truth for your life, and prepare for a collision; Divine Truth colliding with the kairos moment God ordained for you before the foundations of the world. What God ordains cannot be stopped. However, it can be missed.
Don’t miss your moment, don’t allow the enemy to distract you with delays. I promise you, he is the master of illusion, but his tricks are not new, only cleverly disguised. He cannot beat you. He is destined and ordained to lose. The moment that manifests destiny will collide with Divine Truth, when your mind, body and spirit line up with God’s perfect Will for your life. When the enemy rises up to block your blessing, don’t just sit there and take it, GET UP!….and take it by force. “And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force.” (as a precious prize–a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion). When you walk in God’s perfect Will you will walk into your kairos moment, because you are on a collision course with destiny. Relinquish control and move away from resistance. Do a free fall into the flow of spirit and God will open up His universe to deliver to you your greatest and grandest dream and desire, in a moment that manifests destiny.
