Inexpensive Gazebo Redecorating Guide

Decorating a gazebo can not only be a lot of fun, but it helps to add a little something special to your yard. If you are on a budget and want to fix up your gazebo there are several easy and inexpensive things that you can do. The first one involves flowers. If you happen to have a backyard garden than you will have no problem transplanting some of your flowers into large pots, and placing them in your gazebo. Or if you don’t have any larger pots lying around then you can always purchase some inexpensive pots. Most dollar stores carry inexpensive pots that you can use to liven up your gazebo. You can also visit your local garden center and purchase inexpensive window boxes. These can be very easily mounted in your gazebo or placed on the outside of your gazebo all the way around. If you decorate the entire outside of the gazebo with plants it will brighten up the space. You can also try planting grape vines, which will add a special treat, and look nice on a gazebo. Just make sure you treat the grapes with some type of repellent so you don’t attract a large amount of bugs or pests once the grapes arrive. You will also need to make sure that you keep the grape vine nicely trimmed.

If you are like some who don’t particularly care for the fresh flowers then you can always use artificial ones. The good thing about those is that they look good year round. You can hang artificial flowers inside the gazebo to protect them from the elements. To provide a nice seating area to your gazebo you can try purchasing a simply wooden bench. You can even look for one at a garage sell. Then you can simply repaint it to match your gazebo and add a small cushion to it, and you will have a nice place to sit inside.

You can also decorate your gazebo and give it a fresh new look, simply by painting it. With just a little bit of color you can really make your gazebo look great. Try choosing a color that matches nicely with your house. When painting your gazebo you may want to first cover the floor on the inside of the gazebo with plastic to prevent it from getting ruined. You can also place a table inside of your gazebo with chairs. If you already have a small table in your yard you can easily move this inside. If you don’t have one, looking around at yard sales is an inexpensive way to get a small table and chairs for your gazebo. This way you will have a relaxing place to sit and enjoy your gazebo. Last but not least is to give your gazebo a nice beach feel by adding sea shells. These are very inexpensive since you can find them at any beach. After you have found a nice amount you can gently wipe them down to bring out their full beauty. Then you can hang them or place them around the gazebo.
