Your other option is adhesive, and is good for casual wear right up to serious nipple tassel twirling! Eyelash glue is one good adhesive – it is used on the most exposed and sensitive part of our body already, and because of this proximity, has to perform the job without exposing the wearer to allergy or other skin irritation. Spirit gum is the other option. This sticky, glutinous substance requires a removal liquid to ‘undo’ the tassels from your nipple and is usually used by costume departments. Spirit gum will do the job – of that there is no question, but the potential of allergy or irritation to the nipple is very possible.
