How to Turn Your Photos into a Movie Using PhotoScape

You can use PhotoScape to turn your photos into movies. Then you can put the movies on a CD or DVD and play them in your DVD Player. You can also just leave the photos on your computer and play them on there. In this guide I will show you how to turn your photos into a movie using PhotoScape.

You can add borders and different things to your photos before you create a movie out of them. You can turn photos into black and white photos, sepia tone photos, and more. The photos look so much cooler if you add effects to them before you create a movie. But that is up to you.

Open your PhotoScape program and let it load. When it loads you will see the PhotoScape interface. Click on the AniGif icon to begin. In the top left of your window you will see a list of folders. Locate the folder with your photos and click on it. In the bottom left window you will see thumbnails of your photos. Click on the photos that you want to add to the movie. Hold your CTRL key down to select more than one photo. Grab the photos with your mouse and drag them to the center of the program.

You will see your photos at the top of your program. To rearrange the photos grab a photo with your mouse, then drag it to where you want it. Continue doing this until you have your photos that way that you want them.

Next, we will change the speed between each photo. By default the speed is set at 50. You will need to slow it down because with it set at 50 you only get a glimpse of the photo before the next one appears. To slow the speed click the button on the right that says Change Time. The Change Time window will open and this is where you will slow it down. 180 is a good speed to use but you can adjust it to the speed that you want. To apply this speed to all of the photos, tick the bottom field in the box. Click OK to preview the photo speed. To adjust it more, click the Change Time button again and adjust it.

Next, you can change the way the pictures will appear. Click the Change Effect button on the right side of the screen. A menu will drop down with different effects in it. Click on an effect to apply it to your photos. You will see the preview in your middle window.

You can also change the background color behind your pictures. On the right side of your screen you will see the background button. Click on the color button to change the color.

Now you are ready to save your movie and export it. At the top of your screen on the right you will see the Save button. Click that button and type in the name of your movie in the field. Click the Save button to save it. It will take a couple of minutes to save your movie.
