Costume parties can be pricey or cramp one’s style. However, by telling friends to show up as a Hollywood heavyweight or hasbeen, their need for a trip to a costume shop for expensive clothes or make-up fades away like Joan River’s laugh lines on Botox. Perhaps the only rules they must observe is coming up with as many original lines as to where their career is going and why. Rehab isn’t an option!
Reality Star Or Silver Screen Star?
These days stars aren’t exactly as bright as they once were. Snooki, The Situation and Dog The Bounty Hunter may entertain, but it’s hard to see them competing with Clark Gable, Dustin Hoffman or Brad Pitt. Nevertheless, some of us would rather throw on a ripped t-shirt and up our Snooki factor, than taking the time to become the real diva or divo we were meant to be.
Have someone follow around the ‘reality stars’ with a camer, and keep shouting, “Reality stars in the house!” After awhile, the chaos and clash of the filming will be enough to keep any party lively – or at least wacky and weird.

Spelling out guest names in the icing and stars will top off the festivities nicely, and some may even pose for the papparazzi that’s sure to show up with so much starlight in one place at one time. Buy chocolate candy coins wrapped in gold foil and give them out as grab bags for those who capture the Hollywood spirit best.
