Kitchen cabinets can also be constructed as floating cupboards that visually open up a small galley kitchen without sacrificing storage space. And the added benefit is that it’s easy to keep the floor clean beneath them.

Whether you just need a small writing station in a central hallway or a full desk and cabinet set, a floating arrangement will make a special space for carrying your work load. Mount whatever type of cabinets you need above the floor; then top them with ample writing surface to spread out and get things done.
