Centennial Olympic Park is transformed on November 10th, becomes the epitomy of a winter wonderland. Thousands of holiday lights surround you as you are whisked away with the spectacular scenery. Holiday lighting displays change every year. The park is open every day and will provide hours of entertainment for the entire family. It’s free, so you can’t beat the cost.

Outdoor ice skating rink:
Enjoy the wonder of ice skating for yourself! This is Atlanta’s only outdoor rink, and is decked out in holiday lighting.

November 10 – Dec. 22: Mon – Thurs 4:30pm – 10pm; Fri. 4:30 – 11pm, Sat. 10am – 11pm, Sun 10am – 10pm
Dec. 23 – January 6 (except Christmas Day) hours: Sun. – Thurs. 10am – 10pm; Fri. & Sat. 10am – 11pm

Festival of Trees at the Atlanta History Center
Talk about w-o-w, here’s your opportunity to see holiday lights galore! Your eyes will feast on over 60 trees that have been decorated by a designer, an international village, an interactive model train, and a holiday gift shop! Proceeds from all sales will go to the Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgai.

Dates: Dec. 1 – Dec. 19
Hours: Mon. – Sat. 10am – 5:30pm, Sun. Noon – 5:30pm

Lake Lanier Holiday Lights
Lake Lanier Islands Park is about an hour north east of Atlanta, but it’s well worth every second of the drive to see this vast display of holiday lights. Lake Lanier has millions of holiday lights that you can see by taking a six-mile driving tour.

Special holiday lighting displays include Santa’s Elves at Work, an Animated Sliding Penguin, the 12 Days of Christmas, and more.

A nativity scene debuts this year, presented by the Blackshear Place Baptist Church. You’ll be delighted when you see real animals, live actors, a manager and an old-fashioned stable.

Dates/Times: Saturday, November 17th through Sunday, December 30th
