I enjoy finding a great bargain and when I saw Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks, I knew that this low fat item was a good deal. I decided to try these low fat, low cost franks out and see how tasty they were. Here is my opinion.

Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks cost a little over one dollar for one package, at my local grocery store. That price is fantastic. I am an Oscar Mayer hot dog fan and purchase many other brands, also. Still, I could not resist picking up a pack of Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks and seeing what kind of product I would get, for my money.

Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks are not too bad. They do not have the great flavor of my usual favorite brands but, they were tasty and considering they are a low fat item, I was somewhat impressed. These franks do taste pretty good grilled and not too bad cooked in the microwave. They had a good texture and color. Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks are large in size and are filling. I felt like I got more than my money’s worth buying this product and had to admit it was a good budget friendly item. If you need a lot of franks for a large group of people, this product would be a great choice, in my opinion. You can get a lot of franks for very little money! That is fantastic!

Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks have nine grams of fat in one serving, which is equal to one frank. Two and one half grams of that fat is saturated. There are zero grams of trans fat in these franks. Cholesterol content is fifty mgs and the sodium content is seven hundred and sixty mgs. Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks have five grams of total carbs, one gram of sugar and five grams of protein. These franks have one hundred and twenty calories, with eighty of these calories being from fat. That is not too bad, in my opinion. Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks provided me with six percent of my daily calcium requirement, four percent of my daily iron, and two percent of my daily required vitamin A and C content. Since I usually have two of these franks, the nutritional content was not too bad, in my opinion.

Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks have chicken, water, corn syrup, food starch, salt, flavorings and some other ingredients. For a low fat item, I thought that these franks passed the test. I rate Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks three and one half stars out of five stars. I liked the fact that these franks have less fat than Gwaltney Regular Franks. I found Gwaltney Great Dogs Chicken Franks to be of good quality and an excellent value. Using this product did save me money and gave me a healthier choice of franks for my meal.
