The stuffed animal patterns can be used as projects for the Girl Scouts, a home-ec class or as a way to teach your kids the basics of sewing. While you may think your kids may not need to know the basics of sewing, they should know them for when they need to sew on a button, hem their pants, or other quick repairs they can do to their clothing. Not only that, kids can learn about what it takes to make the stuffed animals they win at State Fairs, carnivals, and from the claw machines found at places like Chuck E Cheese. Kids can also make their own stuffed animals to add to their collections.
