Because the Fiber One brand packs high doses of your recommended fiber intake.

But, I have also found that Fiber One Toaster Pastries often go on sale at most grocery stores (probably because it’s a newer product) and can actually end up costing LESS than it’s competitor; Kellogg’s Pop Tarts.

A standard size box of Fiber One Toaster Pastries cost around $1.99 (for six pastries) at most grocery stores. Again, catching the sales, you may be able to find Fiber One Toaster patsies for less. Besides Chocolate Fudge, Fiber One Toaster Pastries are available in Strawberry, Blueberry and Brown Sugar Cinnamon.

Like it’s competition, Fiber One puts two pastries per package, meaning each six count box has only three wrapped packages in it. So like many people, I eat them both at once! Just remember that EACH pastry contains 190 calories and 16 grams of sugar. Yes, if you eat both, than you are getting 40% of your daily fiber, but it’s probably not wise to get almost half of your daily fiber from eating chocolate!
