Hair is challenging to control as depicted by TV commercials. The Sunsilk line of shampoos and conditioners poke fun at poofing limp hair on the heads of women they claim need help. A color dot suddenly appears above their heads to represent the shampoo and conditioner that would best fit their hair type. In fact all the women in the Sunsilk commercial are seen going about their daily life with color dots above their heads.

With all the choices of shampoo and conditioner flaunted as the perfect product it all boils down to trying different ones to see which works for you. If you do find a good product the longer you use it the less effective it becomes.

Seeking answers might draw some to the use of plain soap and water. After all isn’t that what shampoo and conditioner is minus the fragrance, plant extracts, and added vitamins. Unfortunately, soap and water dries hair out. This could be good for someone who has oily hair and wants more volume and bounce.

The fabric softener sheets wouldn’t work at all unless you soak out the fabric softener with water. The powder kind would also have to be dissolved before using. It’s easier to use the liquid brands.

Any shampoo will work with the fabric softener. The shampoo cleans the hair while the fabric softener makes it soft and easy to manage. It really works, but you have to be careful not to use very much because it will make your hair look oily.

To compliment you’re glamorous hair you might choose to buy new makeup for your face. This includes powder to cut down on oil that creeps in throughout the day or evening hours. There are multitudes of powders to sift from. It can be bought in loose or compact style. Some pre-packaged makeup has powder already mixed in. I don’t recommend the makeup powder combination. There never seems to be enough powder in it to keep your face from looking oily. You may only wear powder without makeup to cut down on an oily look. Makeup does tend to oil up your face more than if you didn’t wear it.

Powder can get expensive and depending on your face type and the form you buy it in, compact powder runs out faster than loose, you’ll be jetting off to buy some more.

Before shelling out money on name brands think about buying baby powder. Baby powder lasts a long time and it works. If your makeup is too dark baby powder will lighten it up. It will lighten blush up if you’ve got it too dark on your face. Baby powder doesn’t have any color and works grand with any makeup. It will always be the perfect shade.
