I love soups and chowders because they keep you full for long periods of time. This is great for anyone who is trying to lose weight. I also love canned soups because they are a quick meal. One of my favorite brands has always been Campbell’s, especially their line of Chunky Soups and Chowders. I recently decided to try Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder. I have to admit, I was skeptical of how the chicken would taste. Would this be another high quality Campbell’s product or would Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder turn out to be a waste of money?

With the first bite, I knew Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder would be a product that I would be buying over and over again. The base of the chowder was creamy and perfectly seasoned. There were large chunks of potatoes and mushrooms. The chicken was also quite delicious. All and all, the taste of Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder was extremely close to homemade.

Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder was full of high quality ingredients. The potatoes were perfectly cooked as were the mushrooms. The chicken was also tender and it was not fatty. Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder is something you can definitely feel good about serving to your family.

There were several pieces of potatoes and mushrooms located throughout the chowder, but I only came across two or three pieces of chicken. I didn’t mind this much because the vegetables and chowder base were so delicious. But, this is misleading considering that it is called Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder. This would lead many people to believe that the chowder would be loaded with pieces of chicken.

Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder costs around $2 a can. There are two servings in each can, but still I choose to only purchase this product when it’s on sale. On sale, you can usually find this product for around $1.25. Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder makes a great lunch when you add a few crackers, but you could also serve this product for supper if you served it in a bread bowl or added a side salad. Both of these serving suggestions would still keep the cost of the meal well under $5.

Even though Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder had very few pieces of chicken, I still give it 5 stars. The taste is too good to give this product a lower rating. If you love hearty chowder, Campbell’s Chunky Chicken Mushroom Chowder is for you. Try it once and you’ll be hooked.
