Aveda Blue Malva Shampoo – More Silvery Greys

Aveda Blue Malva Shampoo is a product I’ve been using for about a year, now. The lil’ lady showed up with it, and although I balked at her spending $25 for shampoo when I was used to spending a just few dollars on shampoo, boy, am I glad she did. Aveda Blue Malva is now tops with me.

I’m at the age where the greys and silvers are showing up more and more throughout my hair. Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo has been perfect for making my greys more silvery, and my silvers more silvery-which I suddenly wanted to experiment doing, once she showed up with this particular shampoo. I really didn’t care one way or another. But, you know how women have the ability to talk you into things they want you to try-like simply showing up with a shampoo they want you to use.

Anyway, it’s what Aveda set out to do when coming up with this particular shampoo-make your silvers more silver, etc. And no, making your greys more silvery, and your silvers more silvery isn’t accomplished through some quasi-coloring going on when using the shampoo. It’s done through the use of the organic blend they’ve put together to accomplish such an end.

Also, Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo has enhanced my blonde-brown hair. It’s been shown industry-wide, and now, personally as well, that one of the ingredients in it, coneflower, intensifies whatever your natural color may be-not just blonde hair.

Additionally, if you want to neutralize the brassiness of your blonde hair, not that there’s anything wrong with brassiness in blonde hair, then Aveda’s Blue Malva works to that end as well. Don’t ask me how it accomplishes that, but it does. My blonde hair use to have a brassy tone to it-now it has a silvery tint.

Believe me, you, this review doesn’t even begin to the product justice. I haven’t even begun to get into the organic herbs and natural ingredients which are in it, and all of the other benefits of using it. This is a product that certainly falls into the category “you get what you pay for.

The ‘malva’ in Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo is the malva flower pictured with this article. It’s scientific name is malva sylvestris, and it grows all over the U.S., and perhaps places beyond. Other natural ingredients in Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo include coneflower, as mentioned above, sweet almond shell powder, wild cherry bark extract, Aloe leaf juice, garden cornflower-pictured as well, and other ingredients as well.

So, if you want to make your greys more silvery, and your blonde, or any color for that matter, more intense, then Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo is the one to use.
