Aussie Aussome Volume 2 in 1 Shampoo Vs. Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo

I have long been a dedicated Pantene user. I may have switched types of shampoo, but I always used Pantene. To start the new year off right, I cut my long hair very short, and wanted a shampoo with more volume. Of course, I went straight to my Pantene isle in my local grocery store and picked up Pantene’s Sheer Volume Shampoo. I used it for two months, and it has a few things I like, but there are also a few things I didn’t like. It has a good, clean smell, like all Pantene products do and the Sheer VolumeShampoo really got my hair extra clean.

Pantene’s web site is full of information. The only thing I would change is the size and color of the text on the site. The washed out color of the small text makes it hard to easily read. All of their products are listed on their site with descriptions of each. You can even go there and get a coupon for one of their newest products called Texturize!. You can also get a free sample of another product they make called Pro-V Restoratives. According to www.pantene.com, here are some facts about Pantene’s Sheer Volume Shampoo:

*enriched with amino pro-v complexes

*helps remove dirt and residue

*limp hair gets a boost

*lathers generously

*lightweight

*adds fullness and volume

*gentle enough for daily use

*can be used on permed or colored hair

After using Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo for two months, here are my personal thoughts on this product:

*it left my hair feeling very clean

*it has a nice smell, but a lot like any other shampoo on the market

*it did not give me the fullness and volume that I was looking for in a shampoo

*unfortunately, if I wanted conditioner, I had to purchase it separately

Because this shampoo didn’t give me what I was looking for-although it is a great shampoo if you don’t necessarily need the volume-I looked around for something else that would do the job. After asking around to friends and family, I finally purchased Aussie’s 2 in 1 Shampoo. I’ve used it for about a month now, and I love it.

Aussie’s web site is…well…awesome! They have all of their products listed there with descriptions. Also, they have a drop down menu on their home page where you can tell Aussie what your hair needs, and they can suggest a line of products that will you’re your needs. According to www.aussie.com, here are the benefits to the Aussome Volume 2 in 1 Shampoo:

*voluminous shampoo

*lightweight conditioner in the same bottle

*ingredients include Australian Ginger and Hops

*can be used on all hair types

After using Aussie shampoo, I’ve come to like this new shampoo, even though I’m so used to Pantene. Here are my thoughts on this particular product from Aussie:

*it leaves my hair feeling very clean

*there is conditioner in the same bottle–no purchasing another bottle just to get conditioner

*I love the smell! It’s much better than the normal shampoo smell. I get compliments all the time.

*I can style my hair much more easily now-fewer ‘bad hair days

*Most importantly, I have absolutely gotten the volume in my hair that I’ve been looking for!

Since I’ve begun using Aussie Aussome Volume 2 in 1 Shampoo, I’ve also purchased two other products by Aussie: Sprunch Hair Spray and Aussome Volume Volumizing Foam + Leave-In Conditioner. And, I love these products, too! The Sprunch Hair Spray works great, and it smells like grapes (yum!). The Foam + Leave-In Conditioner makes my hair feel so soft and smooth.

I’ll probably still purchase Pantene products for the rest of my family, since my husband doesn’t care about volume and my daughter is too young to care about styling her hair too much. But, for me, I’ll buy products from the Aussie Aussome Volume line of products.
