Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup tastes of sun-ripened tomatoes. The texture is creamy and smooth. Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup is the closest to my mother’s homemade tomato soup recipe that uses homegrown tomatoes .

The Amy’s soup has just the right amount of black pepper for spice and evaporated cane juice to balance out the acid from the tomatoes. The Amy’s tomato soup pairs perfectly with a grilled cheese sandwich made with the healthier Ezekiel sprouted grain bread.

I like the fact the Amy’s tomato soup is not too sweet and is gluten free. It’s a nice blend of tomato and a little cream.

No. 3: Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup ingredients: organic tomato puree, filtered water, organic cream, organic cane juice, organic onions, sea salt, organic black pepper.

No. 4: Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup is certified organic. In terms of vitamins, it has 20 percent of the recommended Vitamin A, 15 percent Vitamin C, 4 percent calcium and 10 percent iron.

No. 5: Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup is made with no bioengineered ingredients. It has no MSG added and no trans fats. It does contain milk for those who are lactose intolerant.

I purchased the Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup from Whole Foods Market. It heats up quickly on the stove top, but don’t overcook.
