TRESemme’ Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I became familiar with TRESemme’® hair care products through my stylist. I’ve seen TRESemme’® shampoos, conditioners, and other hair care products in salons for years. I was shocked and pleased to find TRESemme’® on the shelves at Target.

Maybe I just don’t get out enough, but I had no idea Target carried TRESemme’® hair care products. I was reaching for a $2 hair care product when I saw TRESemme® shampoo and conditioner in a larger volume container for just over $3. I couldn’t help myself. I went for the professional hair care product.

TRESemme’® Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner Review

My teenage son likes to wear his hair a little long, over the ears, and straight. His problem has been that he has combination hair just like me. Regular shampoo and conditioner left him with too much curl and too many fly-aways. He’s not one to pick out his own shampoo and conditioner, so when I saw TRESemme’® Smooth and Silky ™ shampoo for just over $3 I grabbed it. I also bought TRESemme’® Smooth and Silky™ conditioner. I hoped the combination would help tame his hair.

He tried the hair care products under the most extreme conditions. We were at the beach, where his hair was subject to being sun dried and damaged. From the first use of the shampoo and conditioner I could tell a difference in his hair. It looked shiny clean and silky smooth. Achieving that on a teenage boy’s head is no small feat. He doesn’t care as much as I do about damaged fly-away hair, but he really liked the way his hair felt and looked after using TRESemme’®.

The scent is clean, nothing floral or funky. It isn’t an overpowering scent, at least I couldn’t smell it over his Hugo Boss® cologne.

The shampoo and conditioner were available with a pop-up cap and a pump. I chose the pump to avoid the inevitable spilled bottle of shampoo and conditioner spilling down the shower drain.

TRESemme’® Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner

As I mentioned above, I have combination hair. The back wants to curl and the front wants to lay as flat as possible. Recently, I had my hair styled to successfully create full waves in the back and volumizer the front. I use a lot of Garnier® Fructis™ products for hair care and hadn’t thought to try something different until I found the TRESemme deal in Target.

I purchased TRESemme”® 24 Hour Body Shampoo and 24 hour Body Conditioner. Both hair care products were less than $4 for 32 ounce bottles.

I was genuinely surprised with the difference in my hair volume and clarity after using TRESemme 24 Hour Body Shampoo and 24 Hour Body Conditioner just one time. My hair looked smooth and silky, but it had the volume I needed to style it effortlessly. That’s just what I want my hairstyle to be – effortless. I was very pleased with this product
