The restaurant has received award sand accolades from AAA, DiRona, Wine Spectator, Food and Wine Magazine, Southern Living, Gourmet Magazine, Nation;s Restaurant News and Sante Magazine. the Oakroom calls their food classic ethnic cuisine. The cuisine, with a modern interpretation, in infused with Mediterranean, Asian and European influences. There is s sample spring menu on their website (seelbachhilton.com), which lists the following examples of entrees: Sizzling Rice Crusted Red Snapper, Pan Roasted South Pacific Black Cod, Trifecta of Lame, Tasting of Magyu Beef, Roasted Breast of Duck and Grilled Loin of Berkshire Pork. The fine menu offers tantalizing appetizers and middle courses as well. Chef Todd Richard’s used the finest of naturally raised or grown local ingredients. The Oakroom has four wine cellars with more that 1,400 bottles of wine. There are 33 wines by the glass. The Oakroom is also known for it’s distinguished Bourbon Bar. The dinner menu features entrees such as Duck Breast, Pork Tenderloin, Rock Lobster Tail, Lamb Rack, Salmon, Strip Steak and Beef Filet. Z’s Oyster Bar and Steakhouse specializes in Prime Midwestern aged beef that is hand cut to order.
