Choosing the right wedding song is very important. You will want to select the song that best represents you and your future spouse as a couple. It is also important to choose a song that you both like, and feel comfortable dancing to with one another. Here are ten country songs that are an ideal choice for your first wedding dance.

1. “Then” by Brad Paisley

For the right couple, this is a beautiful choice for a first wedding song. Brad Paisley’s song will bring goose bumps to the room and may even provoke a few tears as you share your first dance as a couple. 2. “How Do I Live Without You” by LeAnn Rimes

This is a personal favorite for a country wedding song. Rimes sings, “How do I get through one night without you/ If I had to live without you/ What kind of life would that be/ Oh, I, I need you in my arms to hold/ Need you to hold/ You’re my world, my heart, my soul/ If you ever leave/ Baby you would take away everything good in my life.” This is a great choice if you are looking for a country song that all of your guests will be familiar with.

3. “Your Everything” by Keith Urban

If you love Keith Urban’s voice, this is a beautiful wedding song choice. Keith Urban sings, “I want to be the wind that fills your sails/ Be the hand that lifts your veil/ Be the moon that moves your tides/ And the sun coming up in your eyes/ Be the wheel that never rusts/ Be the spark that lights you up/ All that you been dreaming of and more/ So much more, I wanna be your everything.”

A very popular country wedding song choice is “Amazed.” The song, which says, “I don’t know how you do what you do/ I’m so in love with you / It just keeps getting better/ I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side/ Forever and ever.” This is another great option if you are looking for another familiar country wedding song.

5. “I Just Call You Mine” by Martina McBride

This is a great wedding song choice if you are looking for something that is slightly different. Martina McBride sings, “Everyone that sees you always wants to know you/ And everyone that knows you always has a smile/ You’re standing ovation after years of waiting/ For a chance to finally shine/ Everyone calls you amazing/ I just call you mine.” This Martina McBride song is fairly popular, but is not often used as a wedding song.

7. “I Need You” by LeAnn Rimes

LeAnn Rimes makes this list a second time with “I Need You.” It’s an excellent choice if you are looking for a LeAnn Rimes songs, but don’t want a song as familiar as “How Do I Live Without You.” LeAnn Rimes sings, “I need you like water, like breath, like rain/ I need you like mercy from Heaven’s gates/ There’s a freedom in your arms that carries me through/ I need you.”

8. “Making Memories of Us” by Keith Urban

This is another beautiful country wedding song for those who love Keith Urban. Keith Urban sings, “And I’m gonna love you like nobody loves you/ And I’ll earn your trust making memories of us.” One of the good things about this wedding song is that it is slightly upbeat, which is great if you know that someone very emotional is going to be at your wedding.
