The Lifestyles Communities Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio

Are you going to be attending a concert at The Lifestyles Communities Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio? Do you want to know some information about this venue? I am attending a Taylor Hicks Concert April 24th 2007 and wanted to find out what to expect once I get there. I decided to share the information I found with you.

I have talked to a couple people who have been to The Lifestyles Communities Pavilion before. They assure me it is a great place and the sound is excellent. The Lifestyles Communities Pavilion was not the first name for the building.

On October 2001, the PromoWest Pavilion opened its doors as the first indoor, outdoor concert venue in America, and was renamed the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in October of 2005. The building features an innovative, one-of-a-kind adjustable Vertere Stage, the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion allows for a multitude of performance configurations from a small 500 seat cabaret to larger, more theatrical performances with a maximum capacity of 2,200 indoors and 4,500 outdoors. voted the “Best New Major Concert Venue” in 2001

Located in downtown Columbus’ booming Arena District, The Arena District is a 75-acre, mixed-use urban infill, located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It features a variety of restaurants, office space, entertainment venues and residencies. The neighborhood centers around Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Lifestyle Communities Pavilion brings a variety of high profile, world-class performers to Columbus, Ohio from rock, jazz, country and comedy; you’ll find all your favorites at The Lifestyles Communities Pavilion.

The Promo West Administrative Offices, located at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion’s business hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday-Friday. The Pavilion Box Office opens at noon on show days when events are for sale at Ticketmaster

The time listed on your ticket is the time that the doors will open for the show. Live music will usually start about an hour after the doors open, but that’s always subject to change. Tickets to a show can be purchased through any Ticketmaster outlet and on the internet at ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 614.431.3600. Lots of people want to know what General Admission ticket means.

Almost all of the shows at The Lifestyles Communities Pavilion are general admission standing room only, which means that there is no assigned seating, if there is any seating at all. On occasions when events are seated, the ticket agent will be able to help you select the best available reserved seating location at your time of purchase. If you require ADA accessible seating for a general admission show, a member of the Guest Services staff can help accommodate your needs when you arrive at the show.

Children two and under are admitted without a ticket unless otherwise indicated. Three years and up will require a ticket to get in.

Lifestyles Communities Pavilion as no policy about camera use. The camera policy is set by the individual artist. Generally, the rule is that no professional cameras or recording devices of any kind are allowed at the shows. Many artists however will allow you to bring a disposable or small digital camera. If you have a question about the camera policy for a specific show, please contact Lifestyles Communities Pavilion.

In compliance with the Columbus, Ohio city-wide indoor smoking ban, Lifestyles Communities Pavilion is a smoke-free facility.
