P J Clarke’s is famous for their burgers. The atmosphere is like that of a pub, very casual and friendly. You can expect a long wait time, so it is a good idea to try and come at off hours. As for the burgers, you can start out with the plain Hamburger for $9.75 and make it your own by adding cheese for .50, bacon and cheese for $1.50, chili for $1.00 sauteed mushrooms for $1.00 and/orsmothered onions for $1.00. If you are not in the mood for a beef burger, then try the P.J.’s Turkey Burger for $9.75 or the Grilled Vegetable Garden Burger for $9.50. Add on a side and one of their great beers or a soda and you will have a full and satisfying meal. They are open for lunch Mon-Fri: 11:30am-3pm and dinner Mon-Thu: 5pm-11pm, Fri-Sat: 5pm-12am and Sun: 3pm-10pm, brunch Sat-Sun: 10am-3pm and the bar is open Daily until 2am.

Charcoal Delights is a casual, very family place to come for burgers. They claim to have invented the gourmet burger and they do have the choices to prove it. Their burgers are 100% beef and are very reasonable. You can choose from 1/4 lb. Hamburger for 2.55, 1/2 lb. Hamburger for 3.84, Double Hamburger for 3.84, 1/4 lb. Cheeseburger for $2.84 or the 1/2 lb. Cheeseburger for $4.19, both with your choice of American, Swiss, Cheddar or Mozzarella, or a Double Cheeseburger for 4.19, again with your choice of cheese. For a little extra charge you can choose one of the hamburger specials and get fries and a soda or shake. They are open Mon-Thu: 5am-11pm, Fri-Sat: 5am-12am and Sun: 7am-11pm

English might seem to be a strange place to get an all American but they do a good job of it. Think English pub, with a nice, relaxed atmosphere and style. Their burgers are either the 10O% Certified Angus Beef Burger which comes on a grilled kaiser roll for $9.00 or the Turkey and Mushroom Burger which is made with fresh ground turkey that has been infused with sautéed mushrooms and garlic, topped with goat cheese and served on a sesame bun for $8.00. Burgers come with your choice of fries, side salad or mash and topped with tomato, lettuce and a classic pickle. Extra toppings cost .50 each. They are open Sun-Fri: 10:30am-2am and Sat: 10:30am-3am
