Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bar: Review

Nutrition and diet experts generally all agree that snacking is an important part of a healthy diet. By allowing too many hours to go by without nourishing the body, metabolism slows and energy lags. For those of us who suffer from hypoglycemia, hunger can also lead to nausea, dizziness, anxiety and headaches. We know that we must have a portable snack on us at all times during our busy days. Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars fits the bill for a tasty and satisfying snack that staves off the unpleasant effects of hunger and satisfies a sweet tooth to boot!

Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars are available in two varieties – chewy and crunchy. Although my family prefers the crunchy variety, both types are equally flavorful. Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars are a sweet treat that can be enjoyed without the guilt of indulging in a candy bar or a huge bowl of ice cream. The portability of this product makes it convenient for lunch boxes, desk drawers and purses. You can easily keep a bar or two on hand for those times when a snack is not only desired, but very much needed to keep hunger and irritability at bay.

One Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bar contains one hundred and forty calories. There is only five grams of Fat in this product and zero milligrams of artery clogging Cholesterol. There is only thirty five Milligrams of Sodium which represents only one percent of the recommended daily intake. There is two grams of Dietary Fiver, nine grams of Sugar and three grams of Protein. Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars also contain four percent of Iron.

Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars have a listed price of $1.99 for eight bars. A very good bargain at that, I often find these bars for even a few pennies less. Available at most grocery stores as well as discount department stores that sell food, boxes of these granola bars are widely available.

Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars are simply a near perfect snack. With a low amount of calories and Fat, a high amount of flavor and an inexpensive price, there is simply nothing not to love about this product. Unfortunately, this product is not for everyone. Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars are manufactured on equipment that also manufactures food products that contain peanuts. If you are allergic to peanuts, you should not avoid this product.

I enthusiastically give this product five stars. Those of us with children know how rare it is to find a snack that is inexpensive, easily portable and pleases every member of the family equally. My husband and daughters insist I keep several boxes of Sunbelt Oats & Honey Granola Bars in the pantry. Pick up a box or two or even three the next time you are looking for a snack to satisfy all members of your family.
