St. Patrick’s Day has always been one of my favorite celebrations. So has music. I can’t wait to see Flogging Molly at Tempe Beach Park. Even more so, I can’t wait to be partying it up with locals on Mill Street. Don’t get pinched, this will be the best St. Patty’s Day you have ever had.
With Flogging Molly in town you know it’s going to be an epic “luck o’ the Irish” kind of day. But how about the night? Within paces of the concert you will have a shower of choices to “wet your whistle” with all kinds of tasty green concoctions.

With attractive servers and bartenders, outdoor patio seating, and awesome food, Canteen Modern Tequila is my first choice of bars after the concert. No, this isn’t exactly your every day Irish pub. They don’t serve Guinness every other drink, and the owners don’t have red hair. What they do have though is a great menu and great drinks to get you started. (TIP: Don’t drink Guinness on an empty stomach)

Okay, Okay, St. Patrick’s Day isn’t on a Tuesday this year, but that is not going to stop me from going into this bar. I have a few lady friends I am expecting to meet here. Here is the deal, not everyone likes the taste of alcohol. Fat Tuesday’s is the best place for this reason alone. They serve up alcohol slushiness that tastes great and makes for a fun night.

This bar is where I will likely end my night. With hand-selected European beers and American craft beers you can see why I have saved this bar for last. The Handlebar will surely have it’s crowd screaming Flogging Molly lyrics as there night winds down, and who knows, maybe the 7-piece band will show up and have a beer and sing with us.
