The Sambazon brand creates USDA certified organic drinks, as well as a variety of other products like supplements and smoothie packs. The organic juice blends are currently produced in 7 varieties that include Original Acai Berry, Supergreens Revolution, Pomegranate Synergy, Rainforest Immunity, Strawberry Samba, Rio Energy, and Antioxidant Trinity. I started purchasing the Sambazon organic juice blends about a month ago, and so far I have been extremely pleased with the quality of the products, and the overall results.

Ingredients
For the purpose of this review, I am examining the blend known as “Supergreens Revolution” but the exact ingredients and nutritional content vary depending on the specific blend. Providing more than 120 acai berries per bottle, this juice blend is packed with flavor, and it is quite nutritious.The bottle states that it is a good source of powerful antioxidants, and heart healthy omegas for the body which come from ingredients like organic acai puree, organic apple juice, and organic supergreens.

The acai berry is a fruit that we all hear about everywhere in terms of claims that it helps with weight loss, anti-aging, increasing energy, and as a source of valuable nutrients.

Nutrition
Depending on the specific blend the calories amount to a little over 140, considering the serving size is 8 oz out of a 10.5 oz bottle. If you drink the entire bottle the calories amount to 183.75. Per the 8 oz serving size the total fat is 3.5g which is 5% of the daily value, and the total carbohydrate amounts to 25g which is 8%. The Sambazon juice blend provides you with 40% of the recommended daily value for Vitamin C.

Observations
I feel the Sambazon juice blends have an excellent taste compared to other organic drinks, I have bought from health food stores in the past. I am not a coffee drinker, but I do like the “boost” I receive from caffeine and energy drinks. Although these are not “energy drinks” I find that they do provide me with a slight boost during the day when I drink them. In my opinion, they taste just as good, if not better than any smoothie I have ever had. My favorite blends are the Original Acai Berry, Supergreens Revolution, and the Strawberry Samba.

For me the Sambazon juice blends are quite filling, and I often forget to eat lunch, if I have one of these during the day. Although I am not trying to lose weight, I have lost a few pounds since I started drinking the Sambazon juice blends. I still feel I am getting valuable nutrients from the ingredients though, and I do not feel I am depriving my body. I am in no way promoting or advising these as a way to lose weight, I am only sharing my personal experience. I have noticed that my nails and hair are growing at a faster rate than normal as well. I feel awesome when I consume a Sambazon juice blend on a daily basis, and these currently rank at the top of my list of favorite things. Luckily, they are retailed at the Lowes Foods grocery store where I shop. I only wish I could find them somewhere in bulk because $2.99 adds up over time!
