We purchase Earth’s Best iron-fortified infant cereal at Target. Unlike competitors such as Gerber and Beechnut, the flavors that they carry are all whole grain. They include multi-grain, oatmeal and rice. The pricing for their infant cereal is $1.59 for an 8 oz box. We often find coupons for $.75 off one box of infant cereal in American Baby Magazine or Parent’s Magazine.
According to www.earthsbest.com, their whole grain cereals have no genetically engineered ingredients, no salt or sugar or modified food starch and no concentrates. They are also Kosher. The grains used to make their cereals are organically grown, without potentially harmful pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. Unlike Beechnut and Gerber infant cereals, there are no added ingredients.
My baby loves the taste of the Earth’s Best Organic, whole grain cereals mixed with homemade pureed fruit. The cereal does not clump when milk is added and is very smooth. When wet, it is not powdery compared to the other cereals. Earth’s Best Organic, whole grain iron-fortified infant cereals provides our baby with a great start to solid foods that we can be confident is healthy and helping her growth and development.
