Publix Chicken Noodle Soup: Review

As a soup lover and a constant grocery shopper, I search for great deals. I came across Publix Chicken Noodle Soup in the soup section of my local Publix grocery store. I like chicken noodle soup and try to keep a few cans of it on hand, so I compared Publix Chicken Noodle Soup’s price to a well known brand and was shocked at the price difference. Campbell’s soup was much higher in price. I decided to try a can of Publix Chicken Noodle Soup to see how it’s taste compared to the well known and higher priced brand.

Publix Chicken Noodle Soup is in an attractive can. It is not as bright as Campbell’s but, the can’s look is not as important as the taste and price difference to me. Chicken noodle condensed soup is what I purchased. Publix has a nice picture of what this soup looks like on the outside of the can. The picture of the product is exactly like the product I purchased. The soup looks good and has plenty of chicken in it, along with the noodles. The picture is true and shows me exactly what I am purchasing. I liked that. The can advertises what I am buying. No surprises.

Publix Chicken Noodle Soup is under seventy cents a can. That is a great price and for over ten ounces of soup, I consider that to be a good bargain. When I tried this soup, it passed my and my family’s taste test with flying colors. The soup tasted great and even when diluted with water, it had a nice chicken flavor and great taste! When I added my usual saltine crackers to it, it was even better and the extra attention did this soup and me justice. I loved the taste, the flavor and the heartiness of this soup and could not find one thing wrong with it. In fact, this soup seemed to be less salty and have less fat floating around in it than Campbell’s soup. Wow! I was impressed.

Publix Chicken Noodle Soup contains only seventy calories per serving and only twenty calories of that is from fat! It has only two grams of fat. This soup contains zero grams of saturated fat! With zero grams of trans fat, it is a healthy choice. It has only three percent cholesterol and three percent of carbs. Publix Chicken Noodle Soup contains three grams of protein. It has four percent of my daily iron and vitamin A requirement. The sodium content is a bit high but, compared to other soups, it is not bad.

Mix this soup with one can of water and microwave. It is delicious and makes a great lunch or side dish. Publix has a guarantee, satisfaction, or your money back. That is good and something worth considering, when buying a soup. I was satisfied and very pleased with my experience. I rate this soup four out of five stars. I recommend it and think that is a great buy.

Publix Chicken Noodle Soup has two and one half servings per can and I think it is a great product to include with lunch or dinner. It goes great with sandwiches and chips or another dish that you may be serving. For seventy cents a can, it can’t be beat. I include this soup in many meals and feel that it gives me quality and a bargain, for my money spent. That is what counts.

This soup contains wheat and egg ingredients. It is inspected by the U.S. Department of agriculture and is distributed by Publix Supermarkets , Inc. in Lakeland, Florida. Refrigerate any unused portion of this product. The cans are dated, so that you know that the product is safe. Always check dates on any can, so you can be sure that this product is in a safe date range.

I was very pleased with my experience in trying this product and will be buying it again. Publix Chicken Noodle Soup provides me and my family with an inexpensive and healthy choice in soups. I enjoyed trying this product and was more than satisfied with this soup.
