One Mother’s Smartlipo Procedure

Smartlipo is said to be the latest innovation in plastic surgery when it comes to body contouring as it is less invasive than traditional liposuction with a shorter recovery period. It is also said to have less side effects and produces more immediate results.

Smartlipo is performed in the doctor’s office by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon using a laser and only local anesthesia. Treatments can be performed on many areas of the body such as the neck, jawlines, arms, male chest, abdomen, love handles, saddlebags, thighs, and knees.

My friend Maria is a married mother of three children who are in their twenties. Maria is in her upper forties and pushing fifty. According to Maria, the treatment itself lasted about an hour, and only one treatment was necessary. Maria was given a compression garment to wear, and returned to work two days later, although the very next day she was out shopping at the mall with her daughter. Maria vehemently agrees that the Smartlipo procedure was a much better way to go than traditional liposuction, and that if she were ever to consider liposuction again she would go with the Smartlipo procedure once again. Maria also states that she saw results in about a week and a half to two weeks, and only had to wear the compression garment for five weeks after the treatment.
