Mrs. Smith’s Cobbler Review

Who doesn’t love the taste of a warm fruit cobbler fresh from the oven? But, in the middle of winter this isn’t always possible. Also, not everyone has time to make this desssert from scratch. As many of you already know, I work full-time and attend college full-time. Rolling out pie dough and making a fruit filling isn’t something I always have time for. Thankfully, I can still enjoy the same homemade taste. All I have to do is open my freezer, pull out a cobbler, and bake it while I prepare the rest of my meal. One brand of fruit cobblers I buy is made by Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Smith might possibly be the Queen of Frozen Desserts. Mrs. Smith is known for delicious fruit pies, but how are the cobblers? Can Mrs. Smith deliver the homemade taste that you’re looking for?

Mrs. Smith’s Cobbler Review: Ease of Preparation

The first thing I love about Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers is how easy they are to prepare. All you have to do is take them out of the freezer, remove some packaging, and bake them for 50 to 60 minutes. How easy is that? One thing you have to remember though is to place Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers on a baking sheet or you might end up with a mess in your oven.

Mrs. Smith’s Cobbler Review: Taste

Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers are as close to homemade as you’re going to get without making the dessert yourself. The fruit is cooked perfectly. The crust is buttery and flaky and the sauce isn’t too sweet. Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers are great fresh out of the oven, but they also reheat wonderfully in the microwave.

Mrs. Smith’s Cobbler Review: Quality

Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers are high quality. The fruit tastes fresh and is perfectly ripe. Also, there is a lot of fruit. In some cobblers you end up with a lot of sauce and very little fruit, but not with Mrs. Smith’s. The crust also tastes homemade. The texture of the crust is also perfect and works well with the fruit.

Mrs. Smith’s Cobbler Review: Price

Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers cost around $5. This honestly isn’t a bad price when you consider how much it would cost to buy the fresh fruit to make one at home. Not to mention the labor involved. If you get lucky, you’ll find Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers on sale for buy one get one free.

Mrs. Smith’s Cobbler Review: Satisfaction Rating

Without a doubt, Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers get a 5 star rating. This product is high quality, easy to make, and tastes like homemade. You couldn’t ask for more. But, if you do want to make Mrs. Smith’s Cobblers even better, don’t forget the vanilla ice cream.
