LUSH Butterball Bath Bomb Review

The Butterball Bath Bomb is my favorite LUSH product; it can turn dry flaky skin, silky smooth with one use. The Butterball is one of the smaller LUSH bath bombs and it is not big on frills, there are no glitter or flower petals and it does not turn your bath water different colors but what it does do is magical.

If you are not familiar with LUSH or bath bombs let me introduce you. LUSH is an international brick and mortar store that is also on the web at www.lush.com. LUSH is all about making natural cosmetic products in the greenest way possible. In stores many of the products are unpackaged, when you walk in there are bins and displays of naked bath bombs, bar melts, shampoo bars, soaps, massage bars and more. The store has available reusable/recycle little yellow bags for you to put your goodies in as you pick them out. LUSH is known for using natural raw materials and many of their products are vegan. As a warning if you are pregnant or sensitive to smells you may want to avoid the store and shop on line, the variety of unpackaged products does cause the store to smell like a candy factory gone wild.

Bath bombs also known as fizzy balls are wonderful! Fill your tub, drop in the bath bomb and climb in for on of the most relaxing experiences ever. The bath bombs all contain sodium bicarbonate which causes the fizzing action when it hits the water. As the bath bomb fizzes away it releases its hidden surprises; Some LUSH bath bombs are mineral soaks others release flowers or glitter into the water while working their relaxing magic.

The LUSH Butterball bath bomb releases chunks of pure cocoa butter into your bath. Yes pieces of cocoa butter floating around your tub and coating your body as they melt, awesome. The Butterball bath bomb also contains ylang ylang oil for a very light scent. The total affect is very, very relaxing and so beneficial to the skin. I have climbed into a hot bath with a LUSH Butterball bath bomb, and some music and next thing I know the water is cold and I have woken from a good nap with glowing, silky smooth skin, heels included.

For the man who wants to try a bath bomb but doesn’t want any glitter, colors, over powering scents or flowers in the tub with him this is an excellent choice. I also suggest Fizz O’Therapy and Geo Fizz, both of these LUSH bath bombs are great for sore muscles.

The Butterball bath bomb by LUSH cost $4.95 in stores and on-line, you can half it if you want to but I prefer to use this bath bomb whole some of the larger ones I do half. For a totally decadent bath times experience try the butter ball bath bomb with a LUSH bath melt. Personally I don’t think any one can have skin dry enough to soak up the moisturizing goodness of this double whammy but it does make a luxurious experience!
