Unfortunately for Kristen Stewart that may not be the case when it comes to her jilted boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. In the aftermath of Stewart’s recent cheating scandal with married-with-children director Rupert Sanders, Pattinson has moved out of the home he once shared with the “Snow White and the Huntsman” star, while she finds herself in the same league as some of Hollywood’s most notorious homewreckers.

Elizabeth Taylor

Violet-eyed icon Elizabeth Taylor’s notorious affair with Eddie Fisher in the late 1950s resulted in the break up of his marriage to America’s then-sweetheart, Debbie Reynolds. But by the early 1960s, Taylor fell in love with her “Cleopatra” co-star, Richard Burton– while she was still married to Fisher! Taylor and Burton were denounced by Pope John XXIII (Taylor told “Entertainment Tonight” the Pope wanted to have her “run out of town”), but there was one happy ending to this bizarre love triangle: Reynolds and Taylor eventually made amends. Angelina Jolie

The modern day homewrecker by which all others are measured, Angelina Jolie famously fell in love with co-star Brad Pitt during filming of the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Unfortunately, Pitt was married to “Friends” sweetheart Jennifer Aniston at the time. To make matters worse, Pitt and Jolie posed for a 2005 W Magazine photo spread where they posed as a happily married 1960’s couple with children. As for the retro-style photo spread– which was shot before Pitt’s divorce was finalized– Aniston famously said of her ex, “There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing.”

Sienna Miller

In 2008, a tabloid photographer snapped steamy pictures of a topless Sienna Miller as she was smooching married “Brothers and Sisters” star Balthazar Getty on a hotel balcony in Italy. According to People, Getty’s wife Rosetta, who has four children with him, was humiliated when the pics surfaced and the couple separated, while Miller was branded a homewrecker. But by 2010, Getty reconciled with his wife. He told Harpers Bazaar: “I loved and missed my family too much not to make it work. Rosetta is understanding enough and spiritual enough to let us try.”

Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were both married to other people when they met on the set of the 2005 TV movie, “Mind Over Matter.” Although McDermott and his wife had a 7-year old son and a newly adopted baby girl, the self-described “soul mates” divorced their spouses and quickly got married in Fiji. McDermott’s ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, penned a bitter essay about the breakup of her marriage, titled “When The Other Woman Is Tori Spelling,” and finalized the adoption of her daughter as a single parent. Spelling and McDermott are expecting their fourth child together.

LeAnn Rimes

Country singer LeAnn Rimes also met her already-married future husband on a movie set– while she was still married to dancer Dean Sheremet. Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, who had two kids with his then-wife Brandi Glanville, met on the set of their movie “Northern Lights” in 2009 and began a highly publicized affair. After she was slammed in the tabloids, Rimes told ABC News: “What happened is not who I am, period…It happens every day to so many people. And I if I take away my album sales, my words, and you have just another couple.” As for Glanville, who is now a cast member of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” she has made her own prediction for her ex-husband and his country crooning new wife. “He will be with her until he cheats again,” Glanville told the Huffington Post. “They won’t be together forever.”
