I love Issey Miyake fragrances. I haven’t smelled one that I don’t like. They all smell so wonderfully feminine and ultimately wearable.
This new L’eau Dissey Florale is amazing. L’eau Dissey Florale smells like real roses. It smells a tad bit sweeter than real roses, but it doesn’t smell candy sweet. It smells floral-y sweet. I don’t smell much else other than roses. I’m sure they have some lemon or something in it to “brighten” the fragrance, but rose is just about all I can smell.
Roses are always appealing to me. Almost every rose based fragrance is just amazing. It’s almost like they took roses, liquified them, and poured them in a nice bottle. And if you are someone like me that grew up with your mom burning rose candles and such, you can’t help but to love rose and think of it as a cozy little fragrance. It reminds me of home, and of my wonderful mother.
I give this fragrance 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason why I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because it is a little bit too light in my opinion. I wish it contained a heavier note such as a musk or vanilla. But it still is a great fragrance, and I recommend it.
