The Colors Get the Feeling Right
Kim is known to decorate with old Hollywood style, and this includes the color palates she uses in her home. This has to do with soft colors like off whites and pale pinks. Her bedroom consists of off whites, silvers, and a distinct black and white theme with splashes of very pale pink. Stick to this color palate, and you can begin to create the feel of her bedroom.
The Pictures Have to Be Right
Kim is known to hang pictures of herself in her own house, and this has been very noticeable in recent shows airing this year. In her bedroom, she has black and white professional photography of herself hanging right above the bed, in some very “sexy” poses as they say. So while you may not want the same type of attention-getting pictures in your bedroom, then you could opt for favorite family photos or photos of you and your love. Just make sure to get them in black and white, and stick to plain frames with wide, pale or white matting.
Keep It Simple, Stupid!
Even though you can’t exactly say Kim is a “simple” person, the way she keeps her home and bedroom spotless as if it’s a picture straight out of a magazine is impressive and noteworthy. This means no leaving personal possessions hanging around – stick them away in a drawer somewhere. Don’t leave articles of clothing hanging on the back of the chair, and keep it spiffy looking! This is a trademark of Kim Kardashian, who has been heard on her TV show to complain about how “messy” people are who come to stay with her.
