How to Get Tickets to the Ellen Show!

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” returned for its fourth season on September 4, 2006. The show, hosted by comedian Ellen DeGeneres, features a mix of hot celebrity interviews, chart-topping and new musical performers, audience participation and contests, and segments that spotlight ordinary people who have extraordinary stories and talents.

Season four of this 3-time Daytime Emmy Award winning Outstanding Talk Show brings a fresh new look, attitude, and more excellent giveaways to the TV this year. For starters, Ellen revealed a new set this season that will continue to reflect the show’s comfy, friendly, and giddy atmosphere. On October 19th The Ellen DeGeneres Show is offering free mammograms, (conducted by medical professionals) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Furthermore, fans will love seeing and hearing about Ellen’s tour of the five boroughs of New York City with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, a tee-off with Tiger Woods, dancing backstage at the Grammys with Madonna and a push-up contest with Lindsay Lohan.

This season on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Ellen will take on her Life List, a detailed account of all the things she has always wanted to accomplish. From learning to use a computer and speaking a new language, to just trying to be more patient, Ellen will check off her to-do list all season long. And viewers and celebrities will get in on the action too as Ellen encourages her audience and guests to set their own goals and accomplish them right along with her. Throughout the season, Ellen will keep viewers updated on the progress of her Life List and the show will create a community where viewers and celebrities can share their life lists with Ellen and each other (found on the show’s website: http://ellen.warnerbros.com).

Ellen traditionally sets the tone by entering the stage with a few of her trendy dance steps. She speaks about everyday life and includes her guests in discussions. Ellen creates a relaxed environment where guests and viewers alike enjoy laughing and an hour of fun. As stated on show’s website, season four will bring the following hot stars to the show: Andre Agassi, Sting, Kevin Ferderline, Jessica Simpson, Sheryl Crow, Ashton Kutcher, Ludacris, Orlando Bloom, Dixie Chicks, Kenny Chesney, Eva Longoria, and OutKast to name a few.

Ellen DeGeneres has more than 20 years of stand-up comedy, acting, writing, and Awards show hosting experience up her sleeve. In 2003, she played the character “Dory” in the animated movie “Finding Nemo.” That same year, she celebrated the publication of her second best-selling book, “The Funny Thing Is…” Ellen has also won People’s Choice Awards two years in a row for Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host and Favorite Funny Female Star.

Airing from Los Angeles, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is televised nationally on the NBC Owned and Operated Television Stations Group. The show also has a cable broadcast on the Oxygen network and is aired daily on XM Radio.
