How to Barbeque or Bake the Best Tasting Ribs

When we barbeque we do not always want chicken, some people like various meats like ribs. Barbecuing ribs is not an easy task because they are so tough and takes a long time to cook. If you know the right way I assure you it will be the most enjoyable dish on your plate, friends and family will always come over for barbeque this summer. In this article, I will go over the necessary steps that you should do in order to ensure the most delicious ribs possible.

The first step you should do when getting ready to barbeque ribs is find the right store to purchase your meat. Most grocery retailers sell ribs but it can be very expensive, you can save money by going to a direct meat retailer that specializes in selling meats. Those kind of stores usually sell the meat at a wholesale price and gives you really great quality meats for your money. If you and your family can eat pork I would suggest pork ribs there softer and tastier, the beef ribs are more big and tougher to chew.

The second step in barbequing ribs when you get them home is too wash them thoroughly. This will help take away all blood and bacteria that the meat has. The proper way too wash the meat clean is with warm water washing out all the blood from the meat. Then pour vinegar and lime juice all over the meat making sure u rub it thoroughly before you rinse it off. Then dry the meat off with a napkin or towel.

The next step in barbequing the perfect ribs is too put it too boil. First you will put a pot of boiling water on the stove. While that is getting hot, you will cut the ribs into portions that you desire. Then, you will add seasoning to the water, such as salt, pepper, onions, spices, and any other of your favorite seasonings. After this is done you will add your rib portions too the boiling water and let it thoroughly cook for about 45 minutes or until tender. The reason we are boiling the ribs first is so that they will be softer when you eat them and the seasoning can soak into them which will give it a richer and more delightful taste.

Now we will take the ribs to the grill and also the oven if you choose to not grill. The first step after your ribs have finished broiling is too remove the ribs and place them in a deep pan. Then you may add seasoning again if you desire, if not take them to the grill. Make sure the grill is ready nice and hot not too much of a high flame though because it will burn your ribs. Place the ribs safely onto the grill using the proper utensils the flames will increase due to the fat juices from the ribs. If the flames get too high you can lower it down depending on your type of grill, or use water lower the flames. Make sure you constantly are turning the ribs, because if it stays on one side for too long it may burn badly. The ribs if you keep a moderate pace of turning and watching the flame, should take 30 to 45 minutes.

The other step I mentioned that you can do instead of barbequing is baking the ribs in an oven. This way is less stressful, because you do not have to deal with the smoke from a grill, the heat, and no constant turning or supervision. All you do is place the ribs in your baking pan, place the oven on 375 and let them bake. It usually takes about the same 30 to 45 minutes but just as with the barbequing since you broiled them beforehand they will be very soft and moist.

The last steps after the ribs have been barbequed or baked, depending on your liking is too add the bbq sauce. There are different measures you can take with this last step depending on if its barbequed or baked. First if it was barbequed, once there nice, brown and look ready to eat remove them from the grill and into a pan. Then you will smother them all over with the bbq sauce using a brush or spoon. Thoroughly cover them back and front with the bbq sauce and then if they’re not going to be eating right away place them in the oven to stay warm. Now if you baked them you can stop before the 30 or 45 minutes is done and remove them from the oven. Place them in a pan cover them just as stated above with the bbq sauce and then put them back in the oven to finish baking. Both of these steps will help you too have the best ribs possible that you and your guests will enjoy.

Once you have finished your meal if there are any leftovers, they should be put away in a container and into the refrigerator right away. I hope these steps will be helpful to you when you barbeque next time and will bring people coming back for more, have a great summer and enjoy those ribs.
