How Lantus® Insulin, and the OptiClik® Pen, Gave Me Confidence and Freedom

When I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 1997, I had no idea what an emotional and physical roller coaster ride I was about to embark on. In addition, by using 24-hour Lantus® with my insulin pen, I only need to take an injection once a day at the same time each evening. You can take your insulin in the morning or afternoon if preferred, but be consistent with the time you select to take your insulin daily.
