Hot Deals: 42″ LED HDTVs $360 to $699

If you are shopping for a LED-LCD HDTV, most are priced on sale right now between $650 and $699 but there are a few cheaper options as well.

Walmart

Walmart has a 42″ VIZIO brand Razor LED-LCD TV for sale at an equally low price of $677.54 online. This product has a 120HZ, 1080p resolution, and 4 HDMI inputs. This TV has a 4.6 out of 5 rating from 133 customer reviews.

Walmart also carries an Element brand 42 inch LED TV for $479 online. It has 60HZ, 1080p resolution, and 3 HDMI inputs. The Element brand television has a 3.5 out of 5 rating after 110 customer reviews. In general, I’ve heard Element TVs don’t last long so I’d really read the reviews before purchasing this product. But it is one of the least expensive LED HDTVs you’ll find.

Best Buy

Best Buy has a couple of LED-LCD TVs for sale around the same price online as Walmart. They have a 42 inch Westinghouse brand television on sale for $649.99 (regularly $899.99), and a 42 inch Insignia brand on sale for $699.99 (regularly $899.99). These don’t have as high of a customer rating though as the VIZIO from Walmart.

Target

Target also carries a 42″ VIZIO brand Razor LED-LCD TV with 120HZ, 1080p resolution, and 4 HDMI inputs. But the Target price of $699.99 (regularly $1049.99), it is more expensive than the VIZIO found online at Walmart.

Kmart

Kmart has a 42 inch RCA brand backlit LED HDTV on sale right now for $649.99, regularly $999.99. There are no customer reviews on the Kmart website.

Costco

Costco also has the 42″ VIZIO brand Razor LED-LCD TV for a price of $699.97 online. Costco extends the warranty to two years, rather than one.

Sam’s Club

Sam’s Club has the same 42″ VIZIO television for $678 and free shipping online, or for the club price of $549 where I live in Texas. If you are interested in this one, it might be worth buying a Sam’s Club membership. Membership starts at $40.

They also have a 42″ JVC brand LED HDTV for $648.71 online or for almost half that for club price, $360 where I live. $360 is the cheapest I’ve seen for one of this size, although I am not familiar with the JVC brand of TVs.
