The Sandstone is a somewhat new restaurant. Located on West Main Street in down town Logan Ohio, the Sandstone is by far the premier dining destination in the Hocking Hills. The Sandstone features fine dining. On the menu you will find gourmet pizza, steaks, and delicious entrees. The Sandstone is a very nice restaurant and it is out of place in a city like Logan.
Logan Ohio is a small city, located in the Heart of The Hocking Hills. Logan offers an abundance of fast food and pizza places. There are a few nice places to dine in Logan, but for the average person the Sandstone would not be a choice for dining. The Sandstone is not outrageously expensive. The menu is priced reasonably for the quality of food offered by The Sandstone. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. I personally really like this restaurant.
The Sandstone is unique in the way that it additionally offers an out door patio for a more casual setting. Appetizers and BBQ are featured on the menu on the patio. The Sandstone has a bistro also. You have many options for dining at the Sandstone.

You can rent a lovely cabin, or stay in the Inn. If you are just looking for a beautiful dinner, make a reservation and indulge at the Glen laurel Inn. Raven wood castle offers a multi course meal and occasionally a buffet. Raven wood is in a gorgeous castle in Macarthur, Ohio. Macarthur is a short drive from Logan, Ohio. Additionally you also can dine at the Brass Ring Golf Course. This is a lovely place outside of Logan. You can play golf and enjoy cocktails at the Brass Ring.
The Sandstone is an ideal restaurant for a romantic dinner, or for a special occasion. The menu or the service will not disappoint you. The Sandstone is open Monday thru Friday and closed on Sunday. The Sandstone is a great option for fine dining in the Hocking Hills. I would recommend the Sandstone to anyone who is seeking a sophisticated menu and delicious gourmet food.
