Vitamin Content: Pineapple is rich source of all vitamins and particularly Vitamin C (33 per cent) is found in excellent levels. Pineapple also contains very good levels of vitamin A (87 IU) (beta Carotene) (53 mcg), vitamin B1 Thiamin (0.245mg), vitamin B2 Riboflavin (0.074mg), vitamin B3 Niacin (0.735mg) panthothenic acid (0.318 mg) and vitamin B6 (0.171 mg). Good amounts of Vitamin A (1 per cent), folate (23 mcg) and vitamin B3 are also found in pineapple in addition to traces of vitamin E (0.03 mcg), vitamin K (1.1 mcg).

Calorie Content of Pineapple: 100g of pineapple contains 86 calories. The fruit has good amount of dietary fiber (2.2g). Pineapple has minimal fat and sodium with no-cholesterol. It is a good source of dietary fiber. This food is very low in saturated fat. The total fat is (0.2 g) and poly-saturated fat is (0.1 g). There are no saturated or mono-saturated fats in pineapple.
