Happy Father’s Day to My Mother

You taught me to deal with bullies
and how to use tools.
You were on the sidelines cheering
when I played sports after school.

From you I learned respect
and how to be kind.
From you I learned when to hold my tongue
and when to speak my mind.

You showed me
and taught me
all a great Father should be
even though when others look at you
it’s my Mother they see.

Happy Father’s Day, Mom!
I Love You.
