Great Kosher Restaurants in Los Angeles

I love dining out in Los Angeles when I get the chance to – there are so many wonderful kosher restaurants to choose from! There is a wide variety of cuisine, price, and atmosphere. Here are a few of the great kosher restaurants of Los Angeles.

There’s The Fish Grill, located at 7226 Beverly Blvd, which has a delicious selection of sea food as well as other delicacies – pasta, salads, and other side dishes. Prices are decent – you can get a meal for under $20.

Shilo’s Kosher Steakhouse is located at 8939 W Pico Blvd. At this classic eatery, you can feast on everything from bison steak to linguini Bolognese. You’ll be paying at least $40 for a meal here.

If it’s kosher Israeli food that you’re looking for, try Shula and Ester Restaurant on 519 N Fairfax Ave. This neighborhood eatery has been around for a pretty long time and they serve great Middle Eastern food. For a meal here, you’ll likely spend between $20 and $40.

Pat’s Restaurant not only superior food, but superior service as well. They are located on 9233 W Pico Blve Ste 200, and they offer freshly baked goods as well as steaks, ribs, and meat sauce and spaghetti. Meals go for around $40 at this restaurant.

Milk N’ Honey is a restaurant I’ve been to a few times. It’s located at 8837 W Pico Blvd and is definitely a bit more on the upscale side, with a nice, quiet atmosphere.

Pizza Maven is another joint that I’ve hung out at more than a few times. They have really good pizza and they offer a whole slew of toppings, as well as expectional Mexican dishes, such as bean and cheese enchiladas. Stop off here for some cheap eats!

Yet one more establishment that I’ve had the pleasure to dine at is La Gondola. This swank restaurant is located at 9025 Wilshire Blvd, and they serve really, really delicious Italian food in the form of all sorts of types of chicken, steaks, veal, BBQ and fish, as well as many different kinds of antipasti.

If you’re in Los Angeles but you’re missing your New York delis (like I was), check out Nathan’s on 9216 West Pico Blvd. They’ve got great, inexpensive sandwiches.

Nathan’s Kosherland (a different place with a similar name) is located at 1636 Westwood Blvd. They’ve got bagels, egg dishes, pasta, pizza and all kind of different sandwiches. This is another great place to check out for cheap eats!

Bar-B-Kosher, at 113 E 9th Avenue, is a really great Middle Eastern kosher place. They’ve got all of the great Middle Eastern goodies – falafel, shakshuka, schnitzel, shawarma, skewers and more. They’ve got all of the great stuff. You’ll be able to spend under $20 for a meal here.

This article only hits on a fraction of the amazing kosher eateries in Los Angeles!
