They say that one of the best forms of exercise for seniors is walking, so why not get started giving your body a good cardio workout that won’t overstress your body? Make your way over to the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center two mornings a week, where participants who are 50+-years-old meet to walk for fitness. Since the activity is held in the center’s ballroom, which is air-conditioned, you don’t need to be concerned when the heat really hits Vegas.

Why spend big bucks to join a health club when you can get fit for free? You may also feel a lot more comfortable being someplace where there are people closer to your age, instead of a bunch of narcissistic 20-or-30-something-year-olds. A senior fitness class will most likely keep in mind the physical limitations that some individuals 50 and beyond have to deal with and help you set realistic goals.
