Keep your kids busy this fall by having easy harvest crafts available morning, noon, or night. Enjoy these easy crafts for the whole family. Get ready for a wonderful fall season!

Quick and Easy Pumpkin Craft

What you need:

Pumpkin

Magic Markers

Knife or scissors

Old Newspaper

Directions:

This is a great project for a rainy day. Be prepared for a messy project because the messier this is, the better. Kids love to get messy making this project perfect for any day. The key is to make sure the kids are having fun. In the end, it doesn’t matter what their pumpkin looks like as long as they have fun.

To carve out the pumpkin, an adult needs to be ready to be hands on. Use a sharp knife to carve out the interior of the pumpkin. Make a face by creating eyes, a mouth, and nose. The fun part is letting the kids decide how they want the fact to look like. Once you’ve card the pumpkin to your liking, now they can start decorating the pumpkin.

For younger children, you may decide to not carve out the pumpkin but let them just create a funky face using markers. This is fine as long as they are having fun. Being creative isn’t hard when both the parent and child are having fun. The rest just seems to fall into place.

Once the pumpkin is finished, showcase outside the front house so everyone who enters will see your child’s creativity. The pumpkin should last a week or two, sometimes longer. Just check for funny smells as pumpkins do go bad after so long outside.

Orange U a Pumpkin Craft

What you need:

Paper Plate

Orange Hand Paint

Green Hand Paint

Scissors

Newspaper

Directions:

This Pumpkin face is a cute fall craft for any lazy afternoon. Use a paper plate that will cut easily. The best option is to already cut out the eyes, nose and mouth on the paper plates. Once they are cut out, lay out some newspaper so that the paint will not get on anything important. We like to do our crafts outside making this a great outdoor craft.

Give the child a paint brush plus the orange paint. Let the child pain the entire paper plate leaving no error unpainted. To make a green leaf for the pumpkin handle, just take some green paint and create a handle with the leftover paper plate. Cut this out and glue behind the orange pumpkin. Once this is finished, this pumpkin can be used as a mask or just a craft you hand on the refrigerator.

Harvest Living Room Scent

As a mom, there is not time of the day I don’t want a heavenly scent running through the house. Especially during the fall, there is something about a fall scent that just makes me feel like cool air is on its way. That’s why I like to have ready-made scents to turn my house into a utopia of yummy scents. Here is a scent that is worth trying.

What you need:

Cloves

Cinnamon

Spice

Aluminum Foil

Water

Directions:

Take a mixture of each of these spices and mix completely. Now place in the center of some aluminum foil, add a few drops of water and seal at the top. Make sure to leave a small whole so that the air can come through the opening. Cook at 275 degrees and enjoy the inviting smells of fall wafting through your home. Enjoy!
