Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee: Make it at Home

Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee is the leading retailer of hot regular coffee-by-the-cup in the United States. They sell nearly 2.7 million cups of coffee a day. Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee is the largest coffee and baked goods chain in the world . They also sell more hot regular coffee, iced coffee, donuts, and bagels than any other quick service restaurant in America. Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee are also ranked number one in customer loyalty in the coffee category by the 2007 Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Engagement Index.

Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee has decided to expand its product. Focused on loyalty and convenience, customers can now enjoy the taste of Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee at home. The coffee is now available in the coffee aisle at your favorite grocery store. Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee is available in several flavors to include: Original Blend, Dunkin’ Decaf, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Cinnamon Spice. You can buy a 12 ounce package of coffee for a suggested retail price of $7.99. You can also buy a 40 ounce package for $15.99. I think that the price is a bit steep. Customers will be paying for the Dunkin’ Donuts name.

I recently received a free sample of Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee in the mail. The sample flavor was the Original Blend, Medium Roast variety and was enough for 4 cups of coffee. I made the Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee in my Sunbeam Coffee pot. Nothing special about the aroma coming from the coffee. It smelled like regular coffee. Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee tasted like regular coffee too. But, the coffee had a real nice kick to it. It must be the 100 % Arabica Coffee beans. After drinking 1 ½ cups of coffee, I was ready to get up and get moving.

In my opinion, I thought the taste of Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee was O.K. It didn’t have a special taste to me. I’ve never drank a cup of coffee at a Dunkin’ Donuts before so I don’t know how its homebrewed coffee compares to its restaurant coffee. I would not go to the grocery store and purchase it for myself. The price is way too expensive. Folgers coffee is my favorite coffee and I will keep on buying it. I’ve bought it for years and I think that it is the best. Sometimes I drink Maxwell House coffee. I buy it if it’s on sale and cheaper than Folgers.
