Does Aluminum Cause Alzheimer’s?

Alzheimer’s, a disease that is usually caused by age, genetic factors or environmental issues, has been a controversial subject throughout the world of medicine. The fact that some people, experts or not, say that Aluminum causes Alzheimer’s is something completely fictional. And although, the connection between these two factors has been for ages, nobody has succeeded to come up with actual proof. Studies have been made, people have looked for numerous alternatives, and so far everything is just a hypothesis; simply because assumptions can be thought, this doesn’t mean that they can be true.

Generally speaking, some people say that Alzheimer’s might be caused by excessive amounts of Aluminum into the brain. However, physicians have verified that a person with the disease has exactly the same amount of Aluminum in the brain as a healthy individual. All evidence linked to the fact that Alzheimer’s can be triggered by Aluminum are circumstantial. Just because there’s a small connection between the illness and the metal, this doesn’t mean that it is the cause.

The human body reacts differently, so practically the origins for one person to have Alzheimer’s can are varied. The disease affects the brain by loosing parts from the brain cells. These small damages are called “plagues” and “tangles” and they cause in time severe memory loss. The correlation between the illness and Aluminum is pure fiction. Medicine is highly developing today and physicians have demonstrated that it is not viable for the metal to trigger Alzheimer’s.

Suppositions and theories are everywhere. Because the subject is so controversial, it has been developed over the years into an attempt to do everything so as to find an answer. Overall, Aluminum does not cause Alzheimer’s, even if “plagues” have been continuously associated with this metal. And although people are commonly exposed to it, the possibilities to be accumulated into the brain are limited.
