There isn’t anything worse than a dirty shower; especially if your shower is a white or creme color. The truth is any dirty shower can be annoying. We all want our bathrooms clean and smelling beautiful. I love porcelain white as well as light colored tiles, so I have to live with showers that show dirt easy. No worries; I have find ways to keep our showers clean with a little daily TLC.

If you have a porcelain white shower or light colored shower, you understand perfectly. Don’t worry about having to clean your shower daily; it won’t take long. If you follow a few tips, your shower will stay clean every day of the week.

Top DIY Tips for Cleaning a White Porcelain Shower

Clean You’re White Porcelain Shower with Bleach
First, I love bleach. It is beyond everything cleaning product … my very favorite. I like to keep bleach (for colors) within reach of my kitchen and bathroom. Since I don’t mind the smell of bleach, I tend to bleach as least every few days. I will spray the shower area, and walk away. Come back in ten minutes or so, and spray with water. Then I scrub. That’s the beauty of a quick clean: it’s finished quickly. Give your shower a little love and it will love you back!

Rinse Shower after Use
I love easy tips. This one works great. After I use the shower, I simply give the shower a quick rinse with clean water. Next, I have a bottle of homemade shower cleaner, which I always keep available. To make my homemade shower cleaner, I take a big spray bottle. I had one cup of vinegar, ½ cup of dishwasher detergent, and the rest water. I mix this and use this every time I want to give my shower a quick clean. Ta da, our shower stays clean.

Hair Build-Up
If you are OCD about your shower, as am I, you won’t mind a little daily cleaning. The end result is worth it: a clean shower. After each shower, just give a good rinse and clean. If you have anyone in the house with long hair, well you know what builds up at the bottom bath or shower. After each use, just clean out the hair; it’s as simple as that.

Vinegar is Amazing
Vinegar is an amazing house hold cleaner. I love cleaning with vinegar because there isn’t a strong scent. Many household cleaners are very strong scented. Forget about them. You can save money by using plain ole vinegar. If you have a stain or grime, just spray with vinegar and wipe away.

Homemade Bathroom Scrub
For really dirty showers, a scrub works wonders. Use one teaspoon of dish detergent, one teaspoon of baking soda, and one drop of essential oil. Mix this together and scrub onto whatever ever has tough grime. Let this set for up to thirty minutes and wash away. Clean, clean, clean! This is a great quick cleaner!

30 Second Cleaning Spray
When we have guests come over, I want my bathroom to look immaculate. I don’t want any strong scents either. It just needs to smell clean. To achieve this, I take my empty spray bottle. Add one teaspoon of vinegar, one teaspoon of baking soda, and the rest water. You can change up this recipe as much as you want. Shake it up and spray all your shower, toilet, and bathroom counters. Wipe away! Your bathroom will smell clean!
