CONCORD Echelon – Eve Online Unique Ship

With the December release of the learning skills removal patch for Eve Online, the second of 3 patches making up the whole of the Incursion expansion, comes the CONCORD Echelon special ship. The Echelon is a gift to subscribers of Eve Online who log in between the release of the second Eve Online Incursion patch and before January 3rd. Along with the Echelon, Eve Online players will find they also receive the gift of 1 Purloined Sansha Codebreaker, another special limited run item that is designed to work in tandem with the Echelon.

Much like the Primae, the Echelon and Purloined Sansha Codebreaker have limited use as a gift ship and module, serving mostly as a collectors piece for loyal fans, or a quick 20 million isk for players looking to sell them on the contracts market. With only a single mid power slot, and practically no fitting attributes, the Echelon is designed to simply serve as a platform for the Purloined Sansha Codebreaker, which is an easy to train, long range hacking module (almost twice as much as the Tech 2 codebreaker) with a slightly shorter cycle time than both manufactured codebreakers , which is only fitable on the Echelon itself. The idea behind these items is to be used with the final part of the Incursion expansion for Eve Online, which will feature the Sansha Incursions events in various constellations. Presumably, Incursion roaming gangs will have a single member of their fleet flying an Echelon with the sole goal of hacking cans in the encounters.
