Conair Ceramic Straightener Vs. Revlon Metal Hair Straightener

Some of us may have curly hair, others may have wavy hair. Whatever your hair type, at one point or another, you want to experience what it is like to have pin-straight hair. Don’t deny it! You’ve seen those models on the cat-walk and wished your hair could be just as straight. Well, which product is best for those of us who long for straight hair? Could it be that stuff that pushy salespeople try to sell you as you stroll through the malls? Or could the magic hair straightener be something you can purchase at Wal-Mart for a fraction of the cost? Read on and you’ll find out!! At Wal-Mart, I purchased Helen of Troy RV059 Revlon Perfect Heat Professional Full-size Straightener. It had gold-toned heating plates, as well as 170 watts of power. Supposedly, This Revlon Perfect Heat Straightener would heat up in 60 seconds and had a tangle-free cord. There are 29 heat settings in the Revlon Perfect Heat Straightener, and it comes with a tiny red light known as an indicator that tells you if the straightener s off or not. And this all comes around the price of twenty bucks. It sounds like a great deal, and initially, it is. When you use Revlon’s Perfect Heat Professional Full-size Straightener at first, your hair looks great. But after a few hours, and especially if there’s the tiniest bit of humidity, your style will fall out completely and you will be left with fluffy, frizzy hair. I later found out that the metal plates found in Revlon’s Perfect Heat Professional Full-size Straightener are actually extremely bad for your hair, because they tend to “grab” at the hair. And this is true, because when I used Revlon’s Perfect Heat Professional Full-size Straightener, I felt like I was pulling some hairs sometimes. This effect causes the hair to become severely damaged, especially over time. And honestly…that cord gets more tangled than those old-school cord phones. It can get pretty frustrating.

And after being disappointed with the results from Revlon’s Perfect Heat Professional Full-Size, tried out the Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair Straightener. It was perfect. Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair also heats up in 60 seconds and also has 25 heat settings. One of the great things about Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair is that is has an automatic shut-off function in case you forget to turn your straightener off. It even has dual voltage in the case that you travel outside the United States. The Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair Straightener ceramic-coated plates make sure that the heat is distributed evenly, and they make sure that your hair isn’t tugged or that it sticks on the plates themselves. The heat that is emitted from the ceramic plates in the Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair Straightener use ions with infrared heat, which leave impressionable results. And for twenty dollars a pop, this isn’t bad at all. I noticed that with the Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair Straightener, your style is held up for a longer amount of time, and the frizz factor is diminished by a great percentage. I’m sure that those ceramic straighteners that cost close to or over one hundred dollars are probably even better. Those ceramic straighteners are made of pure ceramic, which would most likely deliver richer and more long-lasting results. Some of the pure ceramic straighteners heat up in 30 seconds and have a higher amount of watt power, which delivers higher amounts of heat, and straighter hair for longer periods of time. But since we can’t all afford those luxury hair straighteners, the Conair CS19JCS Instant Heat Ceramic Hair Straightener from Wal-Mart will do just great!
