Check Out My Reviews on Pantene Ice Shine & Bed Head After Party !

My hair has always been pretty dull. I’ve been dying my hair for so long, it no longer has much shine or luster left in it. Especially when I flat iron or blow dry it. Flat ironing makes your hair smooth and sleek but it tends to really dry it out, which intimately takes out the shine and “life. So whenever I iron it I always have to put something on it after wards to tame the fly aways, make it shiny and add some moisture to it. I’ve tried everything. Cremes, oils, sprays. You name it, I’ve tried it. But then a few years ago Bed Head came out with this creme that I just had to try. Mainly because the bottle looked so “odd”. Bright pink, big bold lettering and a strange bottle shape. So I followed the directions on the bottle. Work a dime size amount between palms and smooth onto dry hair.” So after I washed, blew dry and flat ironed my locks, I did exactly that. Now first of all, I’ve never smelled anything product from Bed Head that didn’t smell good enough to eat. And this was no exception. Fruity and sweet. Just what I like. The texture was creamy and smooth. One of the ingredients was silicone, which I found a little odd but then I realized that’s why it added so much shine. I rubbed some in my hands and applied it to my freshly ironed hair and it looks awesome. Shiny, smooth, soft and texturized. I was really impressed. It even helps colored hair look fresh and vibrant. And a little went along way. It got rid of the frizz and fly aways. It wasn’t heavy or greasy. It worked great. And since then I’ve used it on almost all of my clients. Clients with fine hair, short hair, thick hair, long hair, dry hair, etc. It’s really for everyone. It adds a little of everything. And you don’t need to use a lot ,so one bottle can last for months.

This is probably, easily one of my favorite products. And since I’m a hair stylist I know and use a lot of products. So I’d like to thin I know what I’m talking about. Bed Head After Party turns lifeless, dry and dull hair into shiny, silky, healthy looking locks. I guarantee it.

It’s a bit on the pricey side ($16.00), but like I said, it lasts a long time. It can be found at most salons (Hair Cuttery). I would recommend this product to anyone (yes, even men). Try it! I know you’ll love it too.

I love any product that promotes shine. Because shiny hair, looks like healthy hair. I’m a stylist so anything to make your hair look and feel healthier is good in my book. And since I’m a stylist, I don’t usually buy consumer products. But when I saw the commercial for the new Ice Shine line from Pantene, I was intrigued. Because honestly, even with professional products, I’ve yet to find any great shampoos or conditioners for shine. No good ones, at least. So I went out and bought the shampoo and conditioner, they also make an Ice Shine hairspray and mousse, but I don’t use hairspray very often and when I do I have an awesome one from Bed Head that creates great shine and killer hold.

So when I brought the Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner home, I immediately opened them to take a sniff. And it smells pretty delicious. Kind of fruity and sweet. Love it! So as I was showering and ready to try it, I was not so sure about it. Like I said, I’m pretty partial to professional, salon products. But I thought I’d give it a shot. The Ice Shine shampoo was nice. It lathered up real well and after one use my hair felt pretty smooth. After just a shampoo. Then I went on to the conditioner. Which I have to admit is my favorite part. My hair is pretty damaged. After being a stylist for more then 6 years, there isn’t much I haven’t done to it. So conditioners are usually what I take the most time in using. I have a routine, let’s say. Anyway, the conditioner was thick and rich ,and smelled equally wonderful. So I applied it to my ends first (because they’re in the worst shape). Then I applied the rest, (leaving my roots because I didn’t want my scalp to get oily). I left the Ice Shine conditioner on for about 10 minutes, for a little extra conditioning. And when I washed it out I could definitely feel a difference. It felt smoother and stronger. I could totally tell even before I dried it. But I knew it would have to pass the air dry test. So I went about my day and finally about 2 hours later my hair was completely dry and very shiny. There was hardly any frizz that I could see and it definitely felt much nicer. I was really excited. For the first time in months I didn’t feel compelled to flat iron my hair to achieve the same effect.

So in conclusion, the new Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner by Pantene are needless to say, a sure thing. They left my dry damaged and colored hair shiny, soft, smooth and stronger. I would recommend these products to anyone. It totally does what it claims to do. Very impressive.
